We sell two premium N-type solar panels: the Haitai 595W and the Taekmo 650W. Both are excellent, both carry a 2-year warranty — but they suit different buyers. Here is how to choose in two minutes.

*Panel watts × 4.5 sun hours × 75% real-world efficiency. Actual output depends on season, shade, dust and angle.
Choose the 595W if…
- You want the most solar for your money. At about ₦219 per watt it is the best value we sell.
- You have enough roof space for one or two extra panels.
- Your installer is carrying panels up by hand. 4kg lighter per panel makes a difference on a ladder.
Choose the 650W if…
- Your roof space is tight. More watts per panel means fewer panels for the same power.
- You want the premium look. The all-black back-contact cells hide the wiring for a clean, uniform finish.
- Your roof gets very hot. This panel loses less output in heat, and its glass back can collect a little extra reflected light from pale roofs and walls.
Real examples with our power stations and inverters
| System | With 595W | With 650W |
|---|---|---|
| YC 3600 (2 panels) | 1,190W · ₦261,000 | 1,300W · ₦341,000 |
| YC 2400 Classic (2 panels) | 1,190W · ₦261,000 | 1,300W · ₦341,000 |
| JC-AC-6KW (one string) | 8 panels · 4,760W · ₦1,044,000 | 7 panels · 4,550W · ₦1,193,500 |
Notice the 6kW inverter: because of its voltage limits, one string fits 8 × 595W but only 7 × 650W — so the 595W gives you more total power for less money there. With the power stations, the 650W adds about 110W of solar for ₦80,000 more.
One rule: do not mix them
Panels in the same string should be the same model. Mixing a 595W and a 650W drags the whole string down to the weaker panel. Pick one type per system.
What about the 730W?
A Haitai 730W bifacial panel is coming soon for large home and business systems. Join the notify list on its page and we will message you the price when it lands.
Our honest recommendation
For most homes and shops, the 595W is the smart buy. Go for the 650W when roof space is limited or you want the premium all-black finish. Still unsure? Read how many solar panels you need, try our calculator, or send us your setup on WhatsApp.
Mounting rails, PV cable and installation are not included. Free delivery in Lagos; outside Lagos the regional fee plus ₦5,000 per panel applies.
