Frequently Asked Questions

Which NIXDIN products can I connect it to?

The JC-AC-6KW inverter (up to 7 panels per string), the JC-YT-5K (4–6 panels), the JC-AC-3.6KW (3–5 panels), the YC 2400, YC 2400 Classic and YC 3600 (2 panels in series), and the JC-AC-1.2KW (1 panel). It is not for the smaller power stations (YC 300S, YC 600S, YC 1100, YC 1200), whose solar inputs are too low-voltage.

What does “bifacial” mean for me?

The back is glass too, so it also catches light reflected from the surface below. The extra power depends on mounting: panels raised over a light-coloured roof or ground gain the most; panels flat on a dark roof gain little. Treat it as a bonus, not a promise.

Why TBC instead of a normal panel?

All the wiring sits behind the cells, so nothing shades the front. That means higher efficiency, a cleaner all-black look and better performance in heat.

Can I install it myself?

It is a full-size rooftop panel (2.4m long, 32kg) that needs proper mounting rails and correct wiring. We recommend a qualified installer — we can recommend one.
