Four new TURSAN products have landed at NIXDIN. Each one fills a gap our customers kept asking about: a portable station big enough for an air conditioner, a cheaper rugged all-rounder, an inverter for whole-home solar, and a slim lithium battery that hangs on the wall instead of taking up floor space.
Here is what each one does, who it is for, and how it fits with the rest of the range.
The short version
Need to run an AC without installation? YC3600. Want solid backup for a shop or flat on a tighter budget? YC2400 Classic. Building a proper solar home system? JC-AC-6KW with a 48V battery. Already have (or want) a 24V inverter? The wall-mounted 24V battery.
1. TURSAN YC3600 — our biggest portable power station
The YC3600 gives you 3,600W of pure sine wave power (7,200W peak) and 3,225.6Wh of LiFePO₄ storage in a steel body on wheels. That is enough to start and run a 1HP or 1.5HP air conditioner, which most portable stations cannot do.
- A 1HP AC on its own runs for roughly 3 hours from a full charge — longer with solar coming in during the day.
- A typical fridge (about 60W on average) keeps going for well over a day.
- Recharges from the wall in about 3 hours (1,500W) or from up to 1,500W of solar panels.
- Switches over in 10ms, so computers and Wi-Fi do not drop when NEPA takes light.
Who it is for: families who want whole-house backup without wiring anything, and anyone renting who cannot install an inverter. Price: ₦1,450,500.
2. TURSAN YC2400 Classic — the rugged all-rounder
The Classic packs 2,000W (4,800W peak) and 2,400Wh into a protective roll-cage frame. It is built to be moved — between home and shop, into the car, out to a site.
- Four AC sockets plus fast USB-C (up to 140W) for laptops.
- About 1.7 hours to recharge from the wall, or up to 1,500W from solar.
- Runs fridges, freezers, TVs, fans, lights and a 1HP AC for around 2 hours.
Who it is for: shops, small offices and homes that mostly run fridges, TVs, fans and laptops. Price: ₦1,080,500 — noticeably less than the YC2400 for most of the same everyday job. See how it compares with the YC2400 →
3. TURSAN JC-AC-6KW — a hybrid inverter for serious solar homes
The JC-AC-6KW is a 6kW pure sine wave hybrid inverter that mounts on the wall and takes up to 9,000W of solar directly — the MPPT charge controller is built in. You can watch your power on your phone over Wi-Fi, and up to nine units can run in parallel if you grow.
- Runs two 1.5HP ACs alongside a fridge, freezer, fans and lights.
- Switches to battery in 10ms or less — no flicker.
- Works with our 48V (51.2V) lithium batteries: 5.22kWh, 10.44kWh or 15.36kWh.
Who it is for: homeowners and businesses building a permanent solar backup system. Inverter price: ₦450,500 (battery sold separately). Is 6kW right for your home? →
4. TURSAN TSA-24V200Ah Wall-Mount — lithium that hangs on the wall
A slim 5.22kWh, 24V LiFePO₄ battery with an LCD display, built on BYD cells and rated for 6,000 cycles. It frees up floor space, needs no watering, and pairs with our JC-AC-3.6KW inverter.
- Around 4 hours at a typical 1kW home load, or about 14 hours if you only run lights, fans and a TV.
- Up to 6 batteries can be linked for longer runtime.
- Note: it is a 24V battery, so it is not for the 48V JC-AC-6KW.
Who it is for: anyone replacing tubular batteries or building a tidy 24V system. Price: ₦1,050,000. Lithium vs tubular, explained →
