The question we hear most from families: "Can it run my AC?" With the arrival of the YC3600, the honest answer is now yes — but whether you need it, or whether the YC2400 is enough, depends on what you actually want to keep on.

Watts vs watt-hours, in one minute
Watts (W) are how much the station can power at the same moment. Watt-hours (Wh) are how long it can keep going. The YC3600 wins on both: about 50% more power at once, and about 23% more battery.

Why the AC is the dividing line
An air conditioner's compressor pulls a large spike the instant it starts. The YC3600's 7,200W peak is built to absorb that spike for a 1HP or 1.5HP unit. If an AC is on your list, that headroom is what you are paying for.
Rough runtimes
These are estimates assuming about 85% of the battery is usable after conversion losses. Real numbers depend on your appliances and how hot it is.
| What's running | YC3600 | YC2400 |
|---|---|---|
| Fridge only (≈60W average) | well over a day | over a day |
| Fridge + TV + 2 fans + lights (≈330W) | ≈8 hours | ≈6.5 hours |
| 1HP AC (≈900W) | ≈3 hours | ≈2.5 hours |
With solar panels charging during the day, the YC3600 can stretch the AC much further.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the YC2400 run an AC at all?
Small units can work for short periods, but if AC is a regular need, the YC3600's surge headroom and bigger battery are the safer choice.
Is the YC3600 too heavy?
It is about 50kg, but it sits on built-in wheels with a handle — you roll it, you don't lift it.
Is it safe indoors?
Yes. No fuel, no fumes, no noise, and LiFePO₄ is the most thermally stable lithium chemistry used in home batteries.
